Dear Life

You've really thrown me the curve ball this year.

Between:
  • being fired from an awesome job last December, to
  • being in Germany for Christmas and New Years, to
  • fighting/loving Toni, to
  • hooking up with a random guy at a party and being his girlfriend for two months, to
  • losing my best friend, to
  • being harassed by Keith's ex-psycho, to
  • being completely obsessed over by strangers online, to
  • smoking/drinking/having sex with Justin, to
  • moving in with Keith, to
  • Las Vegas, to
  • New York, to
  • saying goodbye for what was proposed to be a year, to
  • seeing Keith's deep sadness at the airport, to
  • getting stuck in Atlanta with complete strangers, to
  • meeting a Venezuelan in Chile after having met him online and eating McDonald's Chilean style at 3AM in a foreign city, to
  • moving into a 3-story house of a family I knew nothing about, to
  • taking eight classes in Spanish (5 of them with about 60 Chileans each that never ended up talking to me or even looking friendly), to
  • backpacking for a week with two 30-something Chileans (one of which was previously seen in Seattle in December), to
  • evading persistent/horny men in dance clubs, to
  • going out four days a week, to
  • developing a core group of friends just to leave them, to
  • having to tell a drunk certain someone I live with to keep his hands away from my pants, to
  • questioning my sexuality, to
  • considering moving to Auburn after already making Keith wait for 5 months, to
  • Obama winning double the electoral votes, to
  • Prop 8, to
  • sunburns and salt water tongue in November, to
  • 16 days until reality comes back to life,...
You have really, truly, completely augmented my perspective on MANY things in society. And I'm truly grateful.

But also probably going to kick your ass when I get home and realize how much you suck.

Good game, Life. Good game.
